Tahini Chocolate Date Balls

Tahini Chocolate Date Balls

These cacao date energy balls are vegan, gluten-free, nut-free, and free from refined sugar. Tahini (sesame seed butter) is high in protein and provides a rich source of

vitamins B and E, as well as magnesium, iron, and calcium. Raw cacao powder has nearly four times the antioxidant power of dark chocolate, and more than 20 times that of blueberries!

  • 2 cups (packed) pitted dates

  • 1/2 cup tahini

  • 1/2 cup raw cacao powder

  • optional: 1 tsp sea salt

  1. Add all ingredients to a food processor and process until it forms a thick dough.

  2. Roll dough into about 20 balls. You can roll the balls in additional cacao powder or shredded coconut, if desired.

  3. Place balls in the refrigerator for 2-3 hours to set.

  4. Store in the fridge for up to 10 days or in the freezer for up to 3 months.
